Pumpkin Bread Revisited

So the pumpkin bread with a cake mix is more like pumpkin cake. It was good, lightly pumpkiny, but still cake-like. Plus, it made two dinky loaves. I would probably make one big one and name it the Great Pumpkin Loaf. It didn't make it with me. Once again, a little disappointed by "the pan". I like smooth parts on my bread. Too many bumps and grooves to make that smooth, velvety texture you get on bread.
