This is how many of my kitchen concoctions have been turning out lately. If you can't recognize it, that is a pan of cinnamon toast and cheese toast. I managed to burn to a blackened mound a tray of toast.

I did make an apple pie that wasn't such a disaster. Maybe I'll share that tomorrow.
